Whet Your Theatre Whistle on “Baby with the Bathwater”

May 13, 2008- Newark, OH- Live theatre is alive and well at The Ohio State University at Newark! Come see award-winning playwright Christopher Durang’s Baby with the Bathwater at Ohio State Newark’s Blackbox theatre in LeFevre Hall. The show opens at 8 pm on Thursday, May 22 and will run through Saturday, May 24, and again May 29 – 31. Admission is $3 for students and $4 for the general public. Because of mature theme and language, no one under 17 will be admitted.

According to Durang, “Baby with the Bathwater is a dark comedy about how difficult it is to be a parent, and how scary it is to be a baby and a child. The play is written in an absurdist, playful style and, for all its dark topic, has a hopeful ending.”

“Baby with the Bathwater will make you laugh, and make you think, and laugh some more!” said director Dave Williams.
