Annual Holiday Celebration Brings Santa and Song to NewarkNovember 8, 2007- Newark, OH- The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) have once again joined forces to arrange a visit from Santa on Friday, November 30 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Reese Center. The community is invited to attend this free event where wintertime treats will be served while children visit with Santa.  

Children will have the chance to share their wish lists with Santa between 6:30 and 7:30 pm while hot chocolate, cookies and other holiday treats are served. The University Chorus will sing holiday songs and lead the crowd in a sing-along from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

The University Chorus is directed by Dr. Paul Sanders, associate dean and professor of music education, and is accompanied by Ms. Jackie Dawson. The Chorus performs three concerts each year and membership is open to all Ohio State Newark students, staff and faculty; Central Ohio Technical College students, staff and faculty; and participants from the surrounding community.
