The Art of Hope and Healing at LeFevre Gallery

The Ohio State University at Newark hosts exhibit, reception and auction

The Art of Hope and Healing at LeFevre Gallery

The Ohio State University at Newark will exhibit The Art of Hope and Healing at the LeFevre Gallery from November 19 through December 15. The community is invited to attend a reception and auction of the show’s pieces on Saturday, December 15 from 7 – 10 pm at the Gallery. The auction will begin promptly at 8 pm.

The theme of the exhibit is hope and healing. Local artists are donating artwork, including watercolor and oil paintings, lithography and intaglio prints and photography.

The auction will support Comfort Cottage, Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to facilitating groups that promote hope and healing for children and teens experiencing issues of trauma, loss and grief. Funds raised from the auction will aid children and teens attending Camp Comfort 2008.

The reception and auction are free and open to the public, although a $10 per person donation is suggested at the door.
