Professional Development
The Ohio State University Faculty and TA Development Pages: OSU's online teaching resource, with links to handbooks, articles, upcoming professional development events, etc.
The University of Hawaii at Manoa's Teacher Resources: While some of the information is specific to the school, much of the information from the "Writing Matters" and "Quick Tips" sections are universal.
A Berkeley Compendium of Suggestions for Teaching with Excellence: First published in 1983, this resource may be a bit dated but is still chockablock with many helpful suggestions for the classroom.
Teaching Guides on Writing @ CSU: Colorado State University's Writing Center offers a lush resource with a bevy of information that is sure to offer a useful tidbit for even the most experienced professor.

P I Z ZA Z ! (People Interested in Zippy and ZAny Zcribbling): Self-described as "an Online Resource since 1995 for Scribblers and Teachers of English as a Second Language," this site offers ideas for creative activities for the ESL classroom, some of which may work well in any writing classroom.
The National Writing Project's 30 ideas for Teaching Writing: A composite of different strategies and activities from writing teachers nationwide.

Dave's ESL Cafe: Comprehensive Site for students and teachers alike, with many posted ideas and activities and a fine social network of forums.
Rong-Chang Li's English as a Second Language Page: A somewhat informal yet very broad site of resources for ESL students and teachers.

ESLflow.com: Lesson ideas for ESL instructors.
Learning Disability Resources
LD Online: Comprehensive resource on Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
LD Resources: An interactive blog community with many links and to LD resources and materials.
Teaching LD: Professional site sponsored by the Division for Learning Disabilities of the Council for Exceptional Children. Links to articles, studies, and other materials concerning LD.
Plagiarism Resources
WSU Plagiarism Information Site: Washington State University's comprehensive site defines and looks at the constraints of plagiarism.
Sharon Stoerger's Plagiarism Site: Many links to articles, case studies, plagiarism detection tools, and term paper sites.
WCopyfind: A free program (must be downloaded) that will compare two specific documents--say, an essay with a website--for chunks of matching text..
York University's Academic Integrity Tutorial: Offers tips on how students can detect and avoid plagiarism, with helpful case studies.
Online Journals and Organizations
The National Council of Teachers of English: Home page of the organization, with links to professional journals, conventions, and information pertaining to the teaching of English.
Modern Language Association: Home page of the organization, much like the NCTE's site.
Kairos: Online journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy.
Lore: An E-journal for Teachers of Writing: According to the site, "Lore is a journal for adjunct and graduate student teachers of writing published three times a year and edited by TAs, adjuncts, and assistant professors."
