The third and final component of writing instruction at Ohio State is a junior level course usually taught in the major field of study. At the Newark campus you can take this third level in the fields of English, history, psychology, and education. Consult your advisor for details.

Because the ability to communicate well is so important for career success and personal effectiveness, the English program invites students in any major to continue learning about language and writing by enrolling in any of our other courses, such as those in rhetorical theory and history, writing and learning, style, and community service, among others. Descriptions are available on the "Course Descriptions" page of this Website.
