New Campus Emergency Broadcast Alert System

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark are pleased to announce the availability of a new campus emergency broadcast alert system. Our institutions have engaged with Regroup Inc. to provide these services for our campus community. This system will provide instant emergency notices to students, faculty and staff for situations dealing with campus delays, closures and other important emergency related situations at Ohio State Newark, or any of COTC’s four campus locations (Newark, Coshocton, Knox, and Pataskala). Emergency notifications can be sent to you via telephone, email, text messaging and the institution’s Facebook and Twitter social networks.
New remote access capability available

The ITS Department is excited to announce the rollout of a new streamlined remote access application for your use. This new application will allow you to access your email, work applications and documents in a more user friendly manner from home or any other remote location. Message from the Director
The Information Technology Service Department is here to enhance the use of technology in all facets of our institutions mission. This includes the enrichment of your technology experience in the areas of learning, teaching and meeting the administrative needs you may have. Our primary goal is to work with the campus community in innovative ways that allow us to leverage technology and advance the goals of our students, faculty and staff. Inherent within this goal is the delivery of Information Technology tools which enhance student learning and facilitate student success.
Our Department consists of an Information Technology/Help Desk Support, Data Communications and Administrative Computing Service areas. In addition, our Technology Enhanced Learning (Tel) Center is here to meet all of your instructional design and class room support technology requirements.
Our motto is quite simple “The Customer is Always Right” and we will endeavor to provide you with the highest levels of customer service in support of your technology needs.
