Background

Mark Kwasny received his Masters (1984) and PhD (1989) from The Ohio State University.  He has taught at OSU-Newark since 1991, teaching the American History surveys (151-152), and 6 upper level classes:  Anglo-America to 1763 (556), the American Revolution (557.10), Tudor and Stuart Britain (514.01), 18th-19th Century England (514.02), the History of War (380), and the Vietnam War (308). 

In addition to the book, Washington’s Partisan War, 1775-1783, he has several essays on colonial and revolutionary America published, including most recently in Encyclopedia of the Midwest and Encyclopedia of the New American Nation. He was a member of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers in 2000, and received OSU-N's Teaching Excellence Award for Lecturers for 2006-2007.
