3.  The dimensions of a right circular cylinder are doubled.  What effect does this have its surface area?  What if the dimensions were tripled?

4.  A right circular cone has base radius 8 feet and height 6 ft.  What is the lateral surface area?  What is the total surface area?

5.  A scale model of a building is being built for display.  A scale of 5 cm = 3 m is being used.  It took 27,900 sq cm of cardboard to construct the exposed surfaces of the model.  What will be the area of the exposed surfaces of  the building in square meters?
